Charlie Smith
Vice President, National Accounts

Mr. Smith has extensive experience in medical product procurement and operations. Formerly he served as executive vice president and co-founder of Medibuy.com, chief executive officer of Southern California Materials Management Alliance (SCMMA) where he managed more than $150 million in contracts and accounts. He concurrently served as vice president of materials with Sharp Healthcare, where he managed contracts, materials personnel and services; established material procurement policies and strategies; and set procurement priorities for the largest integrated healthcare system in California.

Mr. Smith served as executive vice president of NCI (National Contracts, Inc.), a nationally known healthcare market consulting company that develops sales and marketing strategies for healthcare suppliers and aligns them with healthcare buyers through strategic purchasing organizations and regional sales programs. With each affiliation, Mr. Smith has successfully fostered partnerships among healthcare product companies, group purchasing organizations, distributors and integrated health networks.
